BAYOU JAMB FOOTBALL GAMES – Monroe, LA – Get ready for an action-packed weekend of football at Bayou Jamb! Tickets are just $12 in advance, available now at all participating high schools, or $15 at the gate or online at bayoujamb.com. Children 5 years and under get in free. With gates opening at 3 PM on Friday, August 30th, and 9 AM on Saturday, August 31st, you will not want to miss a minute of the excitement. This year, halftime will feature special guest performances, a 100-yard dash for kids, and a fun fan experience, making it an event the whole family will love. Plus, 100% of the ticket proceeds go directly to the schools, so come out and support your team!
FAN JAMB WEEK – Monroe, LA – Bayou Jamb is Back Home in Malone August 30-31, 2024, fans will enjoy signature events such as Champion Square Tailgate, Fan Jamb Live, Media Day, Character Counts School Tour, Salute to Service and the Taste of the Tailgate Cook-Off. BAYOU JAMB MEDIA DAY – Monroe, LA – Bayou Jamb 2024 Media Day will be Monday, August 26th, at the Monroe Civic Center beginning at 10 am. Coaches from the sixteen participating teams will address the media, and each school will bring two of its top players. CHARACTER COUNTS SCHOOL TOUR – Monroe, LA – Players from participating Bayou Jamb schools will visit elementary schools on Tuesday, August 23rd, connecting with students about the importance of maintaining healthy relationships in sports, in the classroom, and in their everyday lives. Each student will receive a free ticket to the Bayou Jamb.
SALUTE TO SERVICE – Monroe, LA on Wednesday, August 24th – Salute to Service is a celebration to Honor, Empower, and Connect our nation’s service members, veterans, and high school ROTC members through sports. In honor of their service, Bayou Jamb will host a tribute to our service men and women and participating school’s ROTC students on Wednesday, August 24th, at 10:00 AM on the lawn of the Northeast Louisiana Veterans Home. CHAMPIONS SQUARE – Malone Stadium – Friday, Aug. 30-Saturday Aug.31st. In addition to the great football action, our Tommy’s Car Wash Express Champion Square opens at 3:00 PM on Friday and 9 AM Saturday with vendors, games, music, pep rallies, tailgating and an activity filled Spartan Adventure Park Kid Zone. FAN JAMB PREGAME LIVE! – Monroe, LA – Friday, Aug. 30th – Saturday, Aug. 31st the excitement of the football season kicks off with a weekend of spirit group and band performances that will have everyone buzzing as ULM Campus transforms into Bayou Jamb Campus. TASTE OF THE TAILGATE COOK-OFF – Monroe, LA – A perfect lunch to kick off football season! Bayou Jamb is hosting a tailgate cook-off at the Monroe Civic Center Thursday, August 29th from 11-1 pm. Local restaurants and chefs will battle it out for the Championship Title. Do not miss cheering for your favorite team while showing support for your favorite school as part of ticket proceeds go back to participating Bayou Jamb schools. LIFETIME ACHIVMENT AWARD – Monroe, LA – The 2024 Bayou Jamb Lifetime Achievement Award Honorees are Coach James “Corky” Robinson, former Head Coach of Delhi High School and Coach Doug Pederson, former Head Coach of Calvary Baptist. Coach Pederson and his team participated in the Bayou Jamb in 2008. Special thanks to Senator Stewart Cathy for his support of this award.
IGNITE THE SEASON – Monroe, LA – As the thrilling games end on Saturday, August 31st, at approximately 9:30 PM, fans are invited to stay in their seats and enjoy the Ignite the Season Firework Show over the VCOM of Louisiana Medical School.
